Best Salvadoran Restaurant in Spring

Finally made time to stop into La Casa del Abuelo after reading many good reviews.  Jay welcomed us in and explained his Central American menu to us.  Food was fresh and amazing. We started w Yucca con Chincharron and then Bistec Acaballo and Pollo con Tajadas for entrees.   We want to try everything!  The carne asada was amazing and tender on the bistec plate.  My chicken w great flavor. We will be back soon Jay!

This is by far one of the best Salvadorian food I have tasted (and I’ve been to a lot.) We ordered the pupusas, tajadas with chicken, sweet empanadas, Atol de elote and a Horchata. Their food had so much flavor and their portions were alot. Can wait to go back and try the rest of the food they offer. Their customer service is excellent!! Very attentive and made sure we were satisfied with the food. Defenitely recommend you to try if your in the area.

The food is phenomenal and the staff is so kind and informative. For breakfast we have had the huevo rancheros, and El Famoso Desayuno Del Tio and the flavors are phenomenal. For lunch, the birria taco beef is cooked to perfection and the consommé is full of flavor. For a traditional Honduran meal the Pollo Con Tajadas is 10/10. The chicken is fried perfectly and so juicy. And of course the papusas are amazing as well! Highly recommend!

Best salvadorean restaurant I've ever been to. The food is made with love, and the back story of the restaurant is very touching. After the owner's dad passed his family decidedly to honor him by serving the food he had loved. We had the pupusas, potatoes with garlic aioli, pan de Pollo, horchata, and Agua de Jamaica. It was my first time here and we felt at home. We will definitely be back!!!

Have been coming here for some time & it never disappoints ! Staff is very attentive & super friendly making sure everything is to our liking . My husband gets la mariscada every time, he says it is the best mariscada he’s ever had . Have tried both breakfast & lunch plates & they were all very good, also the atol de elote is a must try, I get one to go everytime. Highly recommended this restaurant !!
